Following the very successful 2016 edition, Neu-IR 2017 will be a highly interactive workshop held at SIGIR 2017 that will provide a forum for academic and industrial researchers working at the intersection of information retrieval and neural networks. The purpose is to provide an opportunity for people to present new work and early results, compare notes on neural network toolkits, share best practices, and discuss the challenges facing this line of research.
Neu-IR 2017 will be held at SIGIR 2017, on Friday August 11, 2017, in Tokyo, Japan. See the call for papers for all important dates.
The workshop is especially interested in receiving proposals on generating large scale benchmark collections, building a shared model repository, and standardizing frameworks appropriate for evaluating deep neural network models for information retrieval.
The list of papers accepted for presentation at Neu-IR 2017 is available here.
Neu-IR 2017 will feature a number of keynotes by leading researchers in information retrieval and neural networks.
All contributed papers accepted at Neu-IR 2017 will be presented as posters so as to stimulate interaction and discussion.
Neu-IR 2017 will feature breakout sessions on evaluation, data, and infrastructure.
